hey everyone.
i have just put new handlebars on my bike and it starts fine and everything but even when in its N the engine will die unless i give it some revz.
does anyone know what would be the problem and what i can do to fix it?
thanks guys ur all legends

turn yoyur idle screw on your carby in about 1/4 of a turn then try that dont have ur idle to high tho as its not good, it should just idle perfectly and not over rev

simply need to adjust the idle. on the eshaust side of the carby there is a gold screw. turn it inwards to make the bike rev faster.

i would have a look at what was changed when you changed the handlebars.
was the throttle cable being pulled on slightly with old bars making it idle higher?
different bars should not change the idle so make sure you have not knocked anything or anything stupid like that

Ya i agree with masterspoon, your bars should have nothing to do with the idle or stalling, unless you streched your throttle cable and it reved consatantly , which is opposite of what your having.

Non the less , id check your air/fuel and your idle.
