My little gem of a 50 performed faultlessly on the weekend first smashing the competition at chandler velodrome on Friday night with some awesome stats...
2 outa 3 holeshots
2 outa 3 race wins (and a 2nd)
1st overall on the night
Beaten only by a 88 that just pipped me on the line when I was stuck in 2nd gear and couldn't shift into 3rd at such high revs.
I recon I could've held it on the limiter in 2nd and ridden to the line for the win but oh well.
Fort Lytton on Sunday it ran well all day without missing a beat. I still can't push as hard as I'd like with my broken arm STILL healing. But had a ball regardless.

damn mate, you've not had much luck on the bike lately.
so what sort of recovery period is it to mend a broken tail bone?

Yeah I'm definitely a crash test dummy. I've never been one to ride slowly, within my skill level. I ride as hard as I can and maybe a little bit harder than I should. Racing on a mx track is frustrating as hell while I'm already injured. I lose so much time in some places I push harder in others

Glad I didn't let you talk me into coming down Sunday! I brought my bro inlaw with me with his bike and my two to parklands on Saturday! I'd just finish a heap of work on my bike, a late boozie session finishing bits for Saturday ride, not having properly checked my bike first thing I raced out onto the track only to realise my hangers and a few nuts were loose. No biggie I thought as I pushed Betsy back, my B,I,L comes back his bike isn't changing gears properly! I suspect user error, regardless is say use my spare bike Murray!
I fix my Betsy n roll Murray of the trailer, 1 lap in he's managed to loose his chain? And jam it up bad too I might add, I offer to push it back for him thinking he'll push mine back! He doesn't he kicks Betsy over rides another lap and come back with her gear box all locked up! After about half hour of ****ing about I decide to pull the pin and head home. After 3.5 hours and many calls to Rotn50 ( thanks old man)
I fixed the issue!
Needless to say this weekends ride was an absolute disaster!
One day soon I'll come and try n bump hangers with you mate but not on a race weekend that's for shizzle! Need to get a few more hours up my sleeve first!

Ahhhhh mate, sorry to hear about your bike woes.
Dude don't be fooled into think that you have to be of a certain skill level before you can race. Any kind of beginner can go out there and have some fun and will receive nothing but encouragement from all the guys. I'm only as fast as the novice riders at the moment and I'm always offering hints and tips to these guys riding around me

Well here it is Corey. I've been slinging shlt at Brendo for ages now to come race his pretty bikes. Now I'll blame you if he doesn't haha.
Getting lapped is no big deal. I think I got lapped in a race or 2 on Sunday. Just opens up the opportunity for a 1 off photo of you in front of the leader. Which mean you can lie all you like about how you were soooo fast to be beating that guy

Been running mid pack for nearly 10 years. I'm returning from a 5 year break. I am definitely no bretto mate haha

Hey Shearer, that's my mate Corey Semenowicz. I been G'ing him up to come race kids bikes again as we use to race together years ago. He had a stock crf110 and had been rushing to get a stocko built and ready for race day. It didn't quite work out. The stocko wouldn't start so he decided to run the stock 110 in the 12" class and see how he goes. I took my DOHC along thinking I'll surprise him with a ride after the frustration of riding a slow bike against the fast guys. Well let's just say that up against 184 lxrs and 190s and all the rest. Corey absolutely smoked them.!! Was putting half a lap on then. Even got a holeshot I think. Out of the first corner first and was goon riding way out in front.
