I came up short on a triple before a corner. It threw me to the back of the bike and as I went back I pulled on the throttle, launching me over the next corner. It launched me at least 10 metres into the air when I made the split decision to jump off and landed feet first
I ended up breaking me tib and fib in both legs and a couple of fingers. I won't be able to get back to riding for at least 3 months. But I still feel as if it could of been a lot worse
Whoa, thats a massive crash dude. All the best and i hope for a speedy recovery for ya, jesus 2 broken legs is gonna be interesting while healing, could of been worse though.... 2 broken arms - then you really find out who your true freinds are
Alright well my dad is had enough of being here in Perth with me haha so he is now back home and told me he'd put me 125 together for me so it's done by the time I get back
He is sending me photos as he puts it together so I'll put them up on here as I get them.
Here's what's done so far and a few X-rays and scars to go with it haha
Cheers guys and yeah I was, i had proper knee braces on too. I snapped the right knee brace from the force haha I consider myself real lucky being here in a rehab facility which has people in a lot worse condition then I am.
Thanks man, I'm keen to see it done and I'm getting X-rays tomorrow on my left leg and hopefully if that all looks good I'll get my cast off and I'll be in the pool starting to walk again I plan on being able to leave here before Aussie Day, but I'm not to sure on the doctors opinion on that...
Finally they let me out of hospital so after a few days sitting at home, I thought the best boredom breaker while being in a wheel chair would be to put my 125 together. Everything is a little dusty so keep that in mind when looking at the photos haha
Started with the carby, airbox, subframe and rear fender. Then the radiators and new hoses. Threw the pipe on and now I'm working on the front rear brakes and wheels
