when stuff comes from america in a big ass box customs automatically think DRUG BUST

nah just messin with ya

but im gonna say i reckon your gonna get it on tuesday or wednesday or next month haha

It's even better when customs lift off your box with a fork lift and miss the crate and shove the fork lift prongs through the side of the box and your parcel... Ask me how I know!!!!!

They may have got a chuckle outta the screwed-together wooden box inside the cardboard one. But them Customs Agents haven't much of a sense of humor...

Letter from customs . yay
Slap another week or two on it ... and maybe another bill...

What did you put inside this thing terry

it's probably the wood that terry used !!! I know we have to use special wood for crating stuff for overseas transport so maybe it's the same for coming into Australia !!??

Unless they're pissy about the used carby, but it didn't smell of fuel. Maybe the daft *******s aren't familiar with "righty-tighty, lefty-loosey" and can't remove the screws holding the lid on?

Oh man if they gotta take the lid off ... HEAVY that's a few months there at least, there will be a risk managment meeting ..it'll take about a week with experts flown in to assess the risks involved in actually unscewing a screw let alone actually taking the lid OFF ... Taking the lid off opens up a whole newe can of worms. Actually opening a package is very stressful for our poor hardworking customs agents so now there's a moral issue involved and I'm sure a few of the team will be off on stress leave for at least a few months over the evermounting dread they've by now associated with your package Woggy ... and sadly anything coming from a company called FirePower anything was always gunna trip a few alarm bells so more time, more of the team off on stress leave.

Soon the whole team is off on stress leave after the third screw gets removed ... it was just was waay too much too soon ... so now there's another four months whilst they train up and asseble a crack specialist team to remove the last screw. Once that comes out (around next july ) then there will be more seminars , training days and confrences outlining several methods of opening the box and ofcourse, the possible consequences of doing so ...this will bring us up to crissy next year ... with a bit of luck some go getting renagade on his way up the ladder might open it early 2013 ...he'll be a LEGEND.

By that time I estimate the "Firepower " box will have laid waste to at least 120 to 150 customs agents. They'll be in various institutions around the country dribbling on themselves ranting lefty loosy over and over and over ... till in about 20 years they DIE ... but hey, they knew the risks when took on the job and they'll get no sympathy from me.

You do though Woggy, I sympathize with you mate and I hope it doesn't take that much longer bruz ... sorry for ranting coulda just said F#CKRENAUTS :alc:

some people i know in earth moving got some Caterpillar parts sent from europe.......... they labeled the box "Cat parts" few months later the package was received..... idiots lol

Well said, Dread. Forgot the carpal-tunnel issues that will be brought on, labor union negotiations regarding splinter dangers, and figuring how to remove the yards of fast-set concrete they've no doubt encased it in for safety.

Sorry, Woggy:( I'll stop using the Fire Power return address for international shipments, I suppose. Or at least drop the "Large Caliber Division" line?

I think i just have to pay gst and what not because the value was greater then $1000

I think it says you mite have to fill a form out terry?
