Hey mate. You should consider making a mobile version of the site as well? Would be awesome, not an app just a mobile version for all mobile browsers?

There is an app from the vbulletin guys, costs a bit, but that'll probably be the only alternate for the time being as it is alot of work and specialised knowledge to get a mobile version working.

Would cost massive amounts of money to get the site designed for mobile and won't be happening.

Not when Tapptalk does everything we need it to.

well guys id like to take this opportunity to announce that im back after a couple years of not being around here much and i like what i see
i started to get sick of this site not with much activity and stupid arguments between everyone [including me cracking the sh!ts big time over some things that were said by a few younger members involving two very unfortunate losses to the site] ive calmed down over that issue and if anyone wants to talk about it PM me
there is some new sections that are good i like the direction the site is heading in
i reckon ill be hanging around here more often now
bring on the new look

The dev site is slowly coming along. I know I'm a little bit behind on schedule for that but really hoping to get it completed by the end of this month.

Im sure you guys have enough to do with the site upgrade but just wanted to ask if there is any plans for a garage section similar to Thumpertalk use to have? The Thumpertalk garage section has been down since they upgraded their site but it was good to list your bike/s & all the mods, Where they came from, What they cost & even rate the parts (which is handy for people looking for similar or the same parts)

I think the Thumpertalk garage is due to be going again very soon

Will be nice to see the Minirider site upgraded anyway, What will be the major improvements with the upgrade, New section etc or?

^^^ Cheers for input man. The major factor we are focusing at the moment is the new VBulletin version and skin to go with. Once the overhaul is done we can look at extras but for now will be much the same, just a heck of alot nicer !!!

Nope not in the plans. That's our sponsors job to provide the bikes. :thumbup:

Yeah I have been toying with the idea of garages. Once the site upgrade is complete I will look into this more.

Will be no new sections or anything. The data will remain the same. I think we have a good selection of forums and it works well.

Hey MM, I have seen on other forums that in their little status next to their name they have a how many thanks they have and how many they have thanked, so people can obviously thank each other for their help. Would this be in the new version? Probably to late for that now though ay, seeing as the end is getting closer? Just a thought

There are several different ways we can do this.

We use the rep system. If you are thankful for something someone has posted then give them positive rep.
