Sounds a bit better now.
I reckon you need a #45 Pilot in it though, that'll fix the hard to start, and get rid of the bog.
Did you get my message about Jets ?

yeah i did, don't think i need any at the moment but if i do i'll let you know. pretty sure i have a 45 somewhere.
i rode it and it was pretty good till the rear brake locked up and had to walk home.

the oil hoses keep blowing off so its been kinda putting me off working on this bike.
but i think i fixed that. pulled apart the front end aswell to grease up the bearings.
found the #45 pilot jet and started 2nd kick feels heaps better.

Nice work fixing the bog.
So what was the fix for the oil line's ?

Keep an eye on your spark plug now, try and do another plug chop
I reckon you might be able to drop the main jet a couple of size's.

Did i read in the chat box that your cam gear came loose ?
What happened there ?

had pretty average clamps so put wider ones on it. and put 2 clamps on the top.
was thinking a 110 or try the 115 again, thats what i had in it before

that was a while ago, yarram vcm the cam gear on the v2 tb head sheared completely off just before the uphill finish line. next race rode the motovert and dnf with a concussion. was a good day racing lol

I'd try the 115 first.
I reckon mine need's to be upped to a 112 or 115.

put a new linkage with aftermarket bearings. no more sag and feels like it when it was did brand new.
rode it at a sand track and was pretty good besides a little bit of bog going out of corners. other then that no stalling like last time i rode the track.

before new linkage

after new linkage

i havent been riding or racing pitbikes since early 2013 so im not really in the loop. but no not from what i know of. vcm last i heard wasnt running anymore.

Nunawading had a pitbike class that ran with the farm/fun bikes like the KLX140s,crf80F-230F, im sure they would let you race that. they arent much competition for the lxrs but its something.
was only 6 of us racing it and they are all moved to bigbikes fulltime now.

that was the track and what the racing was like, laps changed every event but usually practice and 3 rounds of racing between 4-6 laps. track changed a fair bit since then. not sure what its like.

Thought that bike looked familiar!!

Guessing you got it all sorted? Looks good.

I heard the other day that VCM is still racing pit bikes this year so you should be right. Just keep an eye out on the website. Maybe even shoot them an email showing your interest.

Victorian Classic Motocross

done a little more work to the bike. it starts up first kick now. still having abit of carby issues. every time the bike get airborne it splutters as you will hear in the video.
did have a clutch issue where the plates would get stuck but fixed that and switched to motul synthetic oil that i used in my kx250f seems to of fixed the problem over time.

both oil coolers have broken for the 2nd or 3rd time so this time instead of buying new ones i used permatex steel weld and made a bracket to glue them onto. seems pretty solid so think it should work for awhie.

its very difficult to get it to stop on this track. back end kicks out rolling on the throttle. fun but bit scary lol.

front brakes dont seem to work well at all so need to bleed them and also the front wheel bearings are pretty bad aswell as a buckle in the rim. have a spare to put on so thats fine. steering bearings have gone bad too but i have some old ones that still look good.

only main thing now is fork seals, fix the fuel or jetting problem and front brake, should be complete finally.

all the bikes go now, still waiting for parts for the motoverts to come back in stock but dhz doesnt seem to be restocking much since its been 2 years

still bogging on throttle which is really annoying, and noticed today i think the bars are bent as its pulling to one side.
