Yeah you'll have to get it pressed out then the new stem pressed in and also a new bearing aswell if the one going in doesn't have one. Most mechanics have presses you could try asking one I had the same problem with my gpx triples.
 
That's it brendo, every fork and triples change I have done required the stem to be reverted back to the stock stem
 
Where did you get the oil cooler hoses from and the numbers from and how much?
 
How much were the numbers and how much were the pipes?

Just suspention and rear brake left to fix

Had a ride on it at my new house, still needs front end wobble fix a little and rear shock and rear brakes
And possibly new carby. Much more powerful then I remembered it, as you can proberly hear its still running rough but still has some crazy power.

Put a takegawa hyper coil on starts first kick and goes twice as good as I remember, got a little clutch prob but ill fix it tomorrow
 
Got these parts a week ago but was getting the clams lathed so I didn't bother putting most of them on till today.

Still need abit more modifying to make the forks fit as the shaft runs out of thread so we might just put washers underneath or rethread it so there's not wobble
Won't idle now so still need to adjust that, was going to do Afew more things but kind of limited to what I can do at the moment
 
Awesome, cats are all the same my misses cat does exactly the same thing, straight in there. Let me know how that fastace shock goes mate.

He loves boxes, Have another cat now that came with my new house, very friendly been following me everywhere even with my dogs, also have an all black cat walking around to, not really friendly tho runs off if your within 50 meters of it

Fast ace I reckon is abit to long but it's the only shock I could get for the a frame motovert
Had a 265 dnm in it and the fast ace is 270 but it just doesn't look right to me even tho its only 5mm difference.
Mistakenly got the 550lbs, way to hard. Can't Test it for Afew days tho, crashed the 250 last night pretty bad if you can see it in one of the pics
 
Yeah I was worried about that extra 5mm, small but can make all the difference. Yeah I noticed the 250 with the shroud sitting on the seat, you didn't do to much damage to it or yourself did ya.

250 went into a barbwire fence and gumtree, broke the throttle grip in half, no damaged to the throttle so far, bent radiator and scratched plastics and exhaust.
Dunno how I'm going to fix the radiator proberly have to get a new one, already had new pro taper pillow grips for it, wheel and forks seem fine, bars were pushed back.
Hopefully nothing else broke, think ill have to get new plastics and sticker kit for it

Hit a rock or something going out the gate of a paddock and back end kicked up and my feet came off and went over the bars, landed on my shoulder and took alot of skin off aswell as my knees and arm. Jarred my thumb to.
Right knee is swollen but I can walk Linda so shouldn't be broken but hurts quite abit.
Pretty lucky tho, if the bike didn't go straight then we would of either gone down a big hill or barbwire fence and tree.
Think I landed 20-30 meters after it kicked up, got up a meter away from the barbwire fence
Bike started and dad rode it so think its just looks that we're damaged
Don't wanna do that again
