next will be,,
pro tapper bars,
better chain,
OKO carby,
exhaust,,
then dono from der lol
but will upload more pics when der done

if i was you i would get the pro taper bars and a new good quality chain then just ride it get your moneys worth out of it. looks good though mate enjoy

yea im guna get bars n chain,, u dont think i should get like carby exhaust ect.

its up to you but if your doing it for power its sometimes cheaper to go to a 140 or 150 , 160 etc so i would just thrash what you've got then when its too slow bolt a 160 in it rather than spend 2 or 300 on your 125. thats only my point of view but after riding a 125 for 2 years then bolting a 160 in the power difference was amazing for not much more money

yea true i havent really thought about it
cheers i will keep that in mind

I will say the same thing.... only i bought a pos china 125 and it was fun until my kickstart failed.....

would have cost me 600$ to have a shop do it, or about 3-5 hours of time and 170$ to do it myself....

instead i bought a 140 for $458.52 (Pirahna YX 140cc)

the power i felt from the 140 over the 125 was incredible....

to think its not that much bigger of engine but the power it delivered was totally noticeable... wheelies on demand with ease without using any clutch....

im still running my on the stock box tune from the factory and it runs like a champ... added UNI, and some different bars, 1/4 turn throttle.... and the thing riiiiips....

so i would save the $ for a motor upgrade because with that you cant go wrong.... you KNOW you have more power after that....

any 140 stock should be able to :autogun: a 125 =) unless your 125 is vertical and 2 stroke =)

just read my name... lol

and if your new to riding too i would take it easy on the new bike and always check bolts, use locktite.... lube the chain every 3 or so runs just to keep it on par... nuts and bolts are the main thing though they like to rattle loose on yah and if you locktite them as you find them you should be ok !

looks badass too i love the white/black /jealous

bars and things like that totally go for , a 1/4 turn throttle is a nice investment also... have fun ridin' though !!

lol 140-addict have you ridden anything bigger than a 140?

I think you will find the 140's of ANY brand are pretty similar in performance to 125s of any brand, and suitably lacklustre without a HEAP of work....
step up to a 150 or 160, THEN it's a completely different ballgame....
If you disagree, try running an OKO26-fed 125 against a stock 140.... "Just" a carby, yet enough to level the playing field, and with the right gearing, an OKO-fed 125 will run over a stock 140... Sorry mate, but they arent that special...
If you reckon the 140's are good, and trust me, i'm not taking the piss, then try a 150Lifan, 155z or a YX160. you'll think chips are flying out of your bum compared to the 140's...
and $460 for a 140 motor? seen you coming buddy... ;)

It is true if your going to upgrade might as well do a decent one, i know a guy in south east melbourne at the moment selling a lifan 150, with everything except carby for only $300 and had around 10 hours use, was bought as a spare engine but its no longer needed.

But if you dont want to spend $300 I would just get a better carby, it really does make a difference on a 125, i had a crappy JK carby come standard I then swapped to a still pretty crappy carby (mikuni PZ) but it even made a fairly big difference so i would deffinatly buy the oko, and you can still use it on a better engine when you buy one so its not a waiste on money. but as far as exhaust i would not waist your pennys, its not really going to do much unless you do breathing mods inside the head (porting, cam, etc etc) So for now i think you should try make it reliable and strong, aka Pro Taper handle bars, RK or D.I.D chain, and a OKO. Then just ride the pants off it. If you want the shocks to handle a bit better to try chaining the fork oil to a different weight the standard oil is pretty much cooking oil, its rubbish it will make a fairly big difference, as for the rear shock if you plan on jumping throw it out and buy a Fastace or DNM shock they walk all over the standard one.
