hey guys.. i have a china 125 from marshalls in glendale newcastle nsw..
i am about to sell it because i am getting a cheap crf50..
but i am fixing my china to sell..
i start it and it sounds luck its sucking in air and what not.. it bogs when i first start it if i rev it enough.. ( not much ) i warm it up and it still bogs a little bit.. but i think its fine..
cleaned the filter so its smick...

but it wont idle for very long before dying.. i have played around with the idle screw and its on fairly high and fast.. it will idle a while.
but if i put it on low it doesnt stay alive..

anyone know what could be wrong, other than being a china
valves have recently been done.. and i went through a puddle it ****ed up for the weekend.. i pulled the carby apart and cleaned the jets..

just need some help

thanks guys would be appreciated

Have you checked the gaskets on the manifold from the carbie to the head?? They maybe leaking.

it has heat stops. probably doesnt even have gaskets.. i will check it.. the bolts are rounded..

The heat blocks have a gasket 1 side and a "O" ring the other from memory.
When the engine is running spray this area with WD40 and see if the engine revs up or stalls.

When the engine is running if the manifold is leaking it sucks air.
When you spray the WD40 there is sucks it in and you will hear the engine change revs.
If nothing happens then maybe its not leaking.

i tightened up and re put together the manifold and carby onto the engine.. fixed the fuel line.. it is idling now.. but still sounds like its sucking in air

ill let it idle, it will sound like its going to die, then it speeds back up again while i am not touching it..
then it repeats etc.
when i rev it bogs till its warm,.. but when its warm it just makes a sucking sound.. everything is tight, i checked the gaskets etc.

sounds like it is running lean. did you check for the air leaks as dhz suggested? adjust your air/mixture screw to 1 1/2 turns out and try your needle clip position. move the clip down one slot at a time and see how that goes.

the air screw is good, there is a blue line stock, and both lines are lined up..
what you mean needle clip position.. i havent touched that, and peto fixed that for me 4 weeks ago

it is, i dont use the choke to kick it.. i can kick it without it.. but yes i have checked, its pissing me off, selling it in 2 weeks

The Problem -
I kickstart it, when i warm it up by revving it, it bogs ..
makes a sucking noise.. ill post a video
ill warm it up..
it idles , then starts idling slow, sounds like its going to die, then idles fast again..
wtf is up..

still sounds like an air leak? check all gaskets, even exhaust maybe?

also drain all the old fuel from the carby and tank and try a fresh batch

I say choke. Run it with the air filter off and make sure the choke aint getting sucked closed.

i have had this problem with my SSR however i just took off the carb and cleaned it and the jets and it was perfect.

defianately sound like fuel prob, same thing clean the carb and blow out with an air compressor, visually check that you can see daylight thru the jets, and yeah drop the fuel. goodluck
