my XR had a Speco 3 speed floor shift in it when i bought it, was a 250, 3 speed manual
i like my Hurst Indy Top Loader shifter a lot more, but thats after i converted the car to a V8

i love 3 speed manuals, there not exactly fast but man you can be lazy with the shifts

3 speed manual are just a good excuse to rev it out further from the big split between gears

ive got a mate with a torana and 3 speed manual, does 100ks in 1st gear at 8300rpm with a really hot red 6

yeah, in my hj i get to 60 in 2nd gear then i have to shift probably different diffs though i still have my banjo.. i do have a "yella terra" head thats tunneled and has larger yt valves in her sitting in the shed for it (currently running a low comp head)

2.78 diff lj torana, hot 202/208 red 3 speed with 13inch rims
