Hello,Im new to this forum and to the world of motorbikes.

I don't own a bike of any kind yet but first I would like to do more research on different types and if I would physically be able to actually ride a bike(for fun).

I really want to know if there is a bike that I can mount and ride?Im 5'3 and I can ride a 20" bicycle comfortably but Im not sure if a bicycle matches up with an actual motorcylce/dirtbike?

I also just want a bike that I can learn on,gears espacially and just learn how to ride even if I never go beyond that its just one of my goals.

Ive been eyeing bikes, looking at video's,forums but I never see anything that actually is recommended for someone in my shoes

Any recommendation,or suggestions are welcomed.....

Thanks....

Hey mate, my wife is spot on 5ft, I brought her an Atomik nitrous 125 in standard form and it fits her to a tea, she can sit on it flat footed (just) so at 5'3" any standard size pitbike (not a big wheeler) would be fine. And for money (ebay specials) i'd probably look at same bike, great beginner bike, although a word of warning the quality is not always the best, but for a stater bike might be a good way to go.

If you're looking at big bikes you can shave the seat foam and have the suspension lowered a little bit. If I were you I'd go look at some 80-85cc bikes (cr80, yyz80, kx80, rm80) - they come in big wheel and small wheel versions, you should probably fit on either of them. I'm about 5'4 and I've ridden 2 stroke 250's (with difficulty) so I'd imagine an 80 would be fine.
