used 2007 thumpstar vs new pitpro RR

if you had to make the decision of buying either a

brand new 2008 pitpro 125RR
or
a used 2007 thumpstar 125 with a missing foot peg
10 hours of riding done on it

both for $600
what would you choose?

he says it genuine i will check it out to make sure, i think he said he bought it for $1500 or around that price, will the foot peg need to be rewelded or screwed on? i know nothing about bikes? cheers for the help guys.

No, or its not a 2007, thumpstar stopped production in 2006 as thumpstar and changed to terra-moto.
