v2 head covers???

am in the process of fitting my v2 head on my dhz 160 and i have struck a problem.The rockers arm covers and cam gear cover off the original head dont fit the v2.what is it i need to get?? This ??

you need yx the style cover's to suit the v2, zonshen heads have a roundish cam cover and different pattern rocker cover

They have never come with covers .. as they where designed for Klx 110's and used stock covers .. then the yx engines copied and used the same covers so they worked with them as well.

Then some silly slant eye made a head basically the same as the yx but put stupid covers on it..

nope the head didnt come with them.information that would of been handy when i brought all the stuff. We live and learn i guess.Now I got to try to get some by friday to have the bike ready for saturday. Oh stress.no wonder im bald.

Heard he is abit dodge , look around on ebay .. mite find the covers you need for cheaper then he would sell them . someone on here would have spares laying around to i reckon.

I'd also be grabbing a gasket kit too as the gasket kit supplied by tb is crap and the rocker arm cover gaskets arn't big enough for the stock or billet dress up kits for the V2. I found out the hard way and had to re-use my old ones.
But you will love it no end, it will put the biggest smile on your face!

I cant say anything about ming'n on here without getting my ass kicked on here but lets say on tuesday i went there with $2200 in my wallet to by the revolution they had there and lets just say that the service wasnt much chop so I left and on wednesday i went to sydney and i got the DHZ. Cant see that other shop lasting to long. Been there 5 times in the last 6 months with the intentions to buy stuff and only once have they had what i needed or was interested in talking to me.
I spoke to casey i think his names is this morning at DHZ and he said that ken has stuffed up a little by not telling me. About the covers not fitting.Not totally his fault. I was smashing him with a thousand other questions. i hope after doing this to me it will be high on his list when other people buy the v2.

Not quiet sure what you mean Barnesd09 about the gasket kit. The v2 head didnt come with a gasket kit and my understanding is the bilklet dress up kits are O ring and the new ones come with the O ring. Correct me if im wrong.

Mingn dont have the covers in stock i was told this morning. Well actually quote "nah we have nothin like that here"

I aint any good at doing reviews or getting into all the technical talk but I could have a few pointer for you with fitting the head. I have learnt a few little bits n pieces already that no one on here as mention as yet. Ming'n did me on tuesday mate. i wont walk into that place again in my life.
