You gotta be a member of the Yarram track Nicko to get on. It's free once your a member.

Unfortunately I have to work now so I can't go this weekend but aiming for next Sat now. Can arrange to meet you down there and you can come in with me if you want man.

Too easy. Ahh I think it's like $50 for a year or something for memory. Nah it's not gippy centre affiliated as far as I know.

Then you show your membership at bottle shop in town, pay $20 deposit and grab the key. Usually when we go have the whole place to ourselves.

i think they still hold a gippy race there every year

it used to be a popular round every year

as far as i know they are affiliated so you should keep the key thing quiet

Na they haven't had a gippy there for years now. It's not an MA track I know that. It's privately owned.

Well guys rode the Yarram track on Saturday and holy crap is it ggggoooooooooodddd!!!!!!!

There is a new table top on the straight and a new extension to the track down the back with a poppy as ski jump into a massive sweeping berm. Roy if you punch through that berm you better bring your bathers as you will be straight into a dam!! lol

The track is currently getting pipes put through it to clear any water. It's the best I have seen it in 10 years. Going to be so awesome to race. Got my starts down pat now as well and found a few sneeky lines. Feel a lot more comfortable on the bike as well so all around from me.

Unfortunately the track is actually closed this weekend boys so they can finish the track off so don't bother heading down. It was closed Sat so I was very lucky to even get to have a spin on it.

I think it's going to be the pick of the rounds this year. Man I was pleasantly surprised the amount of work that had been done.

Yeah sucks you can't ride this weekend. It will be worth it though to finish the track off.

I think just realising I have decent suspension on the LXR now helped me a lot. The gap between the big bike and the LXR has reduced a lot now. Smashed out a good 25 laps and did probably 20 starts. Heaps better with 2nd gear starts.

I will still come last but hopefully not as far behind this time. haha

Ill be up the back with ya nick, know worries there. Sounds like im coming down to a really well prepped track, cant wait, had a go at some jumps on the sunny coast and was quite happy with how I did apart from one small mistake.

If you are like me and ride a big bike as well

the senior restricted licence that you get for fast 50's $200.00 per year

i just found out from MA that with this licence you can also do club and interclub races on you big bike with this licence as well

score for me saved $90

they just need an idea of how many they will need
the licence books cost $550 for 10 licences so you can understand them not wanting to get stuck with a book or 2 worth of licences that the club probably wont use.....

Just sign up to East Malvern Roy and your done. $60 for the year. So much easier.
