bit stiff and very sore in the ribs the ankle held up ok though

i think i'll rest for a week or so now though
 
Take your time getting your bike right and dont rush.
Get yourself a 3/8 drive socket set. The 1/2 inch is deadly on minibikes.

yeah, im going to and none of these 12 point crap im going to get 6 point set.. i used to have a big kit but as time goes so do they lol... i think im going to have to lock up this next set so i have no one to blame other than myself the worst thing i had wrong with my bike (other than the valve cover) was the forks they bottomed out and had little travel so i will dump a better set that i have sitting at home on untill i can get some funds up for a lxr roller
 
did anyone notice the champions in the miniriders tshirts lol
 
Did my bikes today the zeders all nice and clean the lxr will need another piston and rings change before the next race and will have to machine and balance another crank after the last one seized a bearing at tooradin ,imight try a taller gear ratio for the the next one especially for the long straits , runs out of legs through the gears to quik

I got it going for him:) took me a while to jet the ******* but was running fine. Still needs a once size bigger jet. Suspension is very nice.
 
Yep Corey is the man and without his help and yours Mick I wouldn't of been able to race. Appreciate it guys.

Just needs to go up to a 125 Main jet and she will be sweet. Fires first kick at the moment. So much easier than the YX.

Going to get your bike Mick back together in the next few days and make sure she is already for Yarram for you. Gotta rejet that one again as well but after Corey changing jets 50 times I'm pretty sure he has got it down pat. lol
 
That's good news that yas got the bike running mate, getting is one thing I leave for others also, it's a pain in the rectal area, lol. I fly out to Brissy on the 10th may for a qld ride day so will get some practice in.;)
 
What carby and engine is this for out of interest?

It's for a GPX with 184 kit and V2 Head, Taky Ratainers and S35D decomp cam. Running genuine Kehnin PE 28 carb, TB inlet manifold and PC pipe.

Fair bit different jetting to the YX with the same kit on it. Surprised me. Thought they would be identical.
 
I might be able to take a leaf out of your book. I have a gpx with 184 kit v2 and tb manifold as well. I am running a stock pipe though. Running an OKO 30mm so I might see if your jetting settings will work. Definitely alot different to the stock engine.
