Anyone interested in Wonthaggi. Join the DMCC. You can ride on any DMCC wonthaggi practise day and If we get enough mini riders to join they will have times just for the Mini riders. They hold practise days at Wonthaggi usually every month. So join up and you will be the first to know of when the next minis only day is organised as you are already a member!!

You can become a member on any practise day when you decide to ride.
check out dmcc website for practise day and event postings.

the next practise i think is may 2nd.
We may even be able to find a better ride in with the juniors.
I was told the last practise day was packed out with riders getting limited riding times.
But hopefully enough mini riders join up to be able to show the dmcc we are keen to get a mini track up and running.
The dmcc is a huge club if we can hook up with them then we are set.

So whats the deal with this Wonthaggi stuff? Membership for mini's is $95? and what does that give you access to? Benefits?

not entirely sure what they are offering, give u acess to a track first of all! ride days not sure what else! $95 is pretty standard!

Wonthaggi motocross track which is ran by DMCC.
We have been trying to get as much mini riders interested to get a track set up just for minis down there.

Wonthaggi Practise Ride Day this sunday!

Practise Day at Wonthaggi this Sunday 2nd May.
The DMCC are offering 4 x 20min sessions for minis only to ride the big track so anyone interested please come. They are taking new members on the day.
Wonthaggi directions and membership details on the DMCC web.
This is a brilliant track for all riders. Well maintained and great facilities.
The more people we get, the more ride days!
We can also take this opportunity to look at improvements to the Kids/Mini track and make plans to get it up and running.
The DMCC is a huge club (members such as Cameron Taylor) and if we can hook up with them then we will have a permanent place to ride which im sure everyone down south would love.

Well we headed upto the race at Kurri Kurri NSW last Thursday. Packed the bus with 6 bikes, riders and gear and set off for our road trip. Got out about 3 hours from Melbourne and found the subs and amps where draining the battery quicker than the alternater whould charge. So we had to cable tie the neon torch to the grill and keep on truck'n, lucky for us, with the subs disconnected we had head lights back real quick.. Next drama was when Carl told us all we have no deisel in the bus at 3 in the morning, so we stopped at a truck stop and made Carl wake up a trucky for fuel... The trucky was pissed, after scabbing some fuel we where back on the road again, but not for too long, the bus would only go about 50 km/h. With everyone shitting we worked out it was just air in the line and came good with a bleed. We arrived at the track Friday night and camped at the gate.
As usual the track was sweet and ready to chop up.. The weather was perfect and so was the racing, we all had a heap off fun and Stive #21 bringing home the first in the Buz Bus, we heard about it the whole way home..ha ha well done mate!!
