what u got the DHZ or PITPRO?

The dhz.

The only difference to me between one BSE and another is the set-up they all fall apart just the same, they are cheap.

The brand name bikes like motovert, thumpstar etc are just sooooooo much better in everyway, they don't feel chinese at all.

My bike doesn't fall apart. And I am curious about knowing what "chinese" feels like?

i came off a kx80 onto my pp138 and i feel the same... even on my cr125 i feel the same as my pitty...NO "chinese" feel at all...maybe your bike isnt used enough??

All the small stuff has broken on my BSE's;

On my pitpro, the front brake caliper fell off, the chain guide fell off, the muffler clamp broke and fell off (I HATE MAKING NEW CLAMPS!! IM GONNA WELD THE ******* TO THE FRAME!! GRRR :mad: ), kickstand bent and is broken and the top and I broke both levers off in one crash, I know this is all sorta standard stuff and I missed alot of stuff that I really should have loctited more things...

And now to add to that list, MY OIL COOLER JUST SNAPPED OFF!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

hahah just then? how did that happen did it just come off or did u case it?

Hahahah sounds familiar. The first thing i thought when i got my bike was "thats going to snap". It eventually snapped so I had to link one of the oil lines to each hole. I got my sisters boyfriend to mig weld it back on the other day. It ain't snapping off anytime soon lol. Tho thats the only problem I have had so far with my DHZ and i still haven't used any lock tight on my bike yet.

Yeah! It snapped at the weld, I was just riding along in 4th and it went BANG and hit the wheel and bounced off the engine.

Im gonna rent or buy a welding kit (not a mig welder.. will this be ok?) tommorow or soon and weld the bitch back on.

Could you give me any other info on it or anything I should know?

i would imagine that an arc welder would be okay... didnt you go over your bike and tighten every bolt... i started at the front and worked my was up to the back... its worth the effort!

I was told arc welders are crap for this type of job (because i have an arc welder in my shed). He also said arc welds are not very strong compared to mig welds. I don't know what you mean by "welding kit". If you dont know anyone with a mig take it to a welder. When i first got my RM the previous owner over tightened the sump bolt and it broke a huge piece of cast iron off the engine case. Local welders welded it all up. Cost around $40 so i imagine it would cost very little for them to weld the bracket back on...

Mig welders are mainly used for welding alloy, an arc welder will be fine, my frames not alloy. And what do you mean you dont know what I mean by a welding kit??? I'll call it a "welder" if thats you prefer. ;)

And Im gonna weld it myself, don't need to take it to anyone. :rolleyes:

Thought you meant some type of stuff what fixes cracks in metal etc. Suit yourself with an arc welder. I know from experience they do not make strong welds. ( I attempted putting a wipper snipper motor on a pushy many years ago).

Allright, Im going for the gasless mig welder now. Changed my mind haha
