Hi! im from the embarrasingly small minibike scene in the Great nation norway, Tech on pitbikes is scarce in this country, so tell me fellas, What performance mods is actually worth doing? tell me youre personal experiences, not just what other people have told you works.

well i have advanced my timing, ported the head, put an irk and changed my sprockets around all at one time and it was like riding a new bike ill tell u that much

Forgot to tell that my bike is a loncin 110cc, i have currently upgraded the chain/sprockets to a 428 setup, replaced the carb with a "mikuni" 26mm (Stock was a smallish PZ16mm), jetting is a 108 main jet, stock pilot, and needle in middle clip, an NGK cr7hsa plug, grinded the weld in the exhaust, matched the intake manifold to the carb (not a polished finish), replaced the stock piston with a 12,5 to 1 high compression piston, run stricktly 98 octane gas.
What do you recommend I do next? I dont want to spend heaps of cash as parts are expensive in this country, and I dont want to go Bigger in displacement, but i still want to humiliate my fat friends 125 loncin in terms of power, any advice?

mate me thinks thats all about it
unless you start getting into big bore kits and spending some coin

i'd polish you intake if not done yet allows faster flow

o BTW how the fuc is norway lol

i'll bet LoL

oi its probly the worst time to be on here as well as we all asleep over here

tis 1 in the mornin

o and it's my birthday yippeeee

nar but mate it's late here or early wich eva
so not to many ppls around i'll bump this for ya in the arvo when there's more ppl on and probly have a few more ideas

Thanx man, its in the middel of the day over here, im at work, the only place I can access the net:) Im interessted in knowing What mods actually delivers true 4 stroke performance, an IRK is not an option because i dont want to kill the 4 stroke feel, and big-bores are too expensive, besides I would like to smoke bigger bore bikes with my small 110, anyone knows if a performance CDI actually does anything to bikes without massive modifications? it seems strange to buy a item that deliver over-rev to a machine that don`t have power at high revs...

And happy birthday man:) norway salutes you.

cheers me ol mate im of to work ill bump for ya today have a look when you come back to work tomoz

have a good day dude

people also talk about octane boosters, anyone actually tried and gained any performance from it? if so, what kind of bike did you test it on?

And crank-breather hoses? just for show?

Kitaco supercoils? anyone tried them?

also I made my own muffler, the stock was an empty can almost, only thing inside was an perforated baffel, the muffler was even welded on to the pipe, I cut it straight of and made my own muffler using the remains of the stock muffler from my KX125, modified the length, made an inner pipe and bolted the thing on, the bike sounds great now, its got a deep exhaust-note, any comments on exhausts? have I done somthing right or something wrong in making my own muffler?

You got one of the largest Pitbike scenes next to you in Sweden , Boy!!:(

to your Problems....I share the opinion too...don´t dump lots of cash in your engine ....try to get a different Lifan or Jialing 125ccm;) ...you just do the usuall as told ..polishing the intake , clean up the exhaust, maybe shave the flywheel and that´s about it:p

I think i'm doing a pretty good job at mod

Yes sweden is big about pitbikes, then again sweden is bigger than norway when it comes to all things moto. you see, sweden and norway is kind of like america and canada, so similar, yet so different, sweden got long traditions in dirtbiking, norway on the other hand is a conservative ****-hole if you`re in to any kind of motorbiking, we are big on skiing and that kind of crap...

Back to the topic, is it a well-known fact that going big-bore is the only way to substantially increase power and torque? my bike is a lot snappier and feels fresher with the mods i have done so far, but I want just a little bit more... I was thinking of getting a new cam and try to port and polish the head, and what about advancing the ignition? anyone got experience?

(please correct my english people, im norwegian:) )

Iam afraid its tricky to find a cam for your engine:( ....even so its the best way to tweak abit more out of it....advancing the ignition...I wouldn´t go there!!!...I guess a normal CDI does everything necessary!!.....you could ad a IRK...but only if your clutch is on the maindrive not on the crank;)

Does everybody just go big-bore when they want more power? It seems to me that the 110cc chinas is kind an unpopular engine size, why is that? is it so hard to get more power out of this engine?

by the way, I've just made my own set of stuntpegs, the best mod so far! went riding in a quarry yesterday, no problem pulling stand-up circle-wheelies, I recommend pegs to everybody.
