Hey guys what's up? New to the forum, I'll hop on the intro section here shortly, picked up a 125cc pit bike off a buddy for $400 with a helmet, looking to install a performance CDI on it but the wiring on this has been gone through a few times and needs to be reworked which I'm totally prepared to do, however none of the wires coming out of the CDI are color coded/ labeled for me to know which is which. Looking for a bit of guidance if possible.

Here's the current wiring for the CDI that's on it.

Here's the wiring from the new CDI box

Any help knowing what should go where would be appreciated. I'm also installing the new plug wire and such.

Dont want to spoil the ending for you, but once you spend hours working it out and running with the new CDI, i doubt you will notice a difference. Sorry not a helpful post

Hey I appreciate the honesty. I shortly after the post gave up and re-wired it as it was. After watching some videos and such I realized the gains weren't really worth the effort. Thank you though.

If your bike came with the red cdi it no doubt has an inner rotor kit (lightened flywheel), they rev up hard and fast but are so unreliable and going up hills you actually slow up due to the less inertia as the flywheel is so light. Id ******* it and just get a standard 110 125 stator and flywheel. That blue race cdi are also hit and miss. I've seen them last one run but also seen them go for years. Good luck mate.

Any updates?
