ok really quickly... if you have some aerostart, carby cleaner, anything with a high flammability, spray it around where you suspect your air leak is.. the most common places are where the carby joins the intake manifold, and where the head meets the cylinder, and to an extent the exhaust manifold. spraying aerostart around the suspect area will cause it to missfire, as more combustible material is allowed into the chamber. this is a very effective way to find air leaks..

DONT ADJUST YOUR MIXTURE SCREW IF YOU ARE NOT 100% CONFIDENT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT ONE. READ AND RESEARCH BEFORE FIDDLING.

hey peg leg whats do you think of my prob m8???

What size carby do you have? are those jets the stock ones? if not was it doing this before you replaced the stock ones? 2 turns out from all the way in is only a starting point for you to work from. And if you have an air leak that is effecting the performance of the bike, most of the time it will be at the head. either the intake side or exhaust side.
Do as fools said.

ive got the same exhaust an mne started shooting flames out the zorst too

it was doing it cause of an air leak from where the exhaust joins to the head
to fix this buy a copper o-ring an put it inbetween the zorst an the head thighten it an it will stop

Aiite guys thanks heaps for all your help, divy where did u get the copper o ring from

I hope this copper o-ring/washer/casket solves your problems. Even if it does, do a search on carby maintenance so you can familiarize yourself with your equipment.
Measure the size of you zorst manifold and go to your local bike shop, they will have one for you.

Yeah, you have said all that all ready, but you didn't answer 1 question that I asked...!

GOTSPEED?
As stated by others earlier the backfiring etc is more than likely caused by the air leak at the exhaust flange gasket .Especially so if you can hear it leaking at that area....It's Not your carby !!!

Ps. If you have changed your ignition timing and set it incorrectly that can contribute to the problem too !

Cheers Brian

Check your valve clearances - a tight exhaust valve can cause those symptoms as well as a burnt or out of round exhaust valve because the gas tight combustion sealing is affected ! Exhaust flange leaks mainly make the engine pop and backfire on deceleration - but there HAS to be unburnt fuel in the the pipe for flames to occur . An ignition timing problem or faulty ignition can also cause flames and back firing .

Fiddymulisha on ebay had the copper exhaust seals for sale (copper donuts) but he hasn't got them anymore . Go to a Honda shop and ask for CT110 (posty bike) copper exhaust gaskets . You need 33 mm O/D x 25 mm I/D so make sure they give you that size and while you're at it buy a few spares .

When you tighten your exhaust nuts up - make sure you do both up dead evenly and gradually - no tightening one and then the other and don't over tighten them - look to see that there's an even amount of stud visible on both sides and the flange plate is square to the head . :)

man, im glad someone eventually said something about the flange gasket, i was reading this whole thread and seeing so many misleading posts with mixture screw settings and idle screw settings . i though for sure he was about to destroy his bike.
but in the end it was all good.

cheers guys
