as u ladies mite know theres the new pitpro 160R and the pitsterpro X4 both use the YX160 motor? just want to see how the 160 rank up against the YX150 in the old pitsterpro X4.

how reliable are the new 160s? are they as good as the YX150?
do they really have 16hp? do they come with IRK's stock?
what size bore are they? can they be worked as much as the 150s and 140s??

as the manufacturers say will i be able to "blow my mates away"?? (no homo)

and are they sus1 proof? (aka can they take a good ass beating)

Im keen on this info aswell....the Z needs a lill more power:cool:

they have the same flawed cases and clutch as the yx 150. maybe 11.5- 12 horses at rear wheel max i think
YX150 - Bore/Stroke = 60/53
YX160 - Bore/Stroke - 60/57
they can be worked as much as the 150s
also heard the yx160s torque is around the same as the lifan 150 dont know for shore. IMO id go with a lifan 150 over the both of the yx's. to many problems with the yx motors IMO

read about it on planetminis i have seen several threads made about there yx engine having problems

as i have a choice of a 150 or 160 engine in my new bike.. im not telling u blokes what i get untill i get it :):) only damo knows (shut up dont tell them)

are they much faster then the 150?
what bore kits can be put on?

the YX160 engine on the pitsterpro X4 just has a big bore kit added on to it, so it would beat the 150 by like 1hp or w/e but it does come with an IRK stock.

165cc bore and v2 head is a good upgrade for the 160cc but as soon as you start going big bore on these motors your basically riding a ticking time BOMB
The 160 would probably be faster though..

hmm so ya saying if i bore and put a v2 head on it... GAME OVER?

different stroke so the 160 has a longer crank

no NOT GAME OVER any bigger bore and you start to jeopordise THE RELIABILITY . These motor are'nt built to handle such high compression with these big bore options

Its been proved in the USA...these motors are reliable

countell people run 165BBK's on em with v2 heads no problem....178 SCUT kit and no problem

but dont forget... im sus1... no bike last more then 2 rides...

true but more often than not these motors have issues just my opinion.

Sounds like your overcapitalising a bit if your going to buy a bike for 1200 then spend up to an extra 600 or more on a BBK and V2 head.

Ive seen alot of problems with 1835 kits on VWs come to think of it, cant see this being much different if they are running the same cases. Sure they would have good torque but i would be a bit worryed bout reving them to hard for to long

160cc would go hard.. it is a bigger engine and more power than the rest.
so of course it will be faster.
you could put a high comp piston in it.
but it would go hard.
they are all pretty reliable.

no rong again

bigger doesnt alwayz mean faster

mmmmmmmm yx for lunch yum

he he he

16hp and less would be realistic but there's not a china g/box that will handle 12hp so good luck to us all
