Why bother with a 125, I mean you could get it go, but I would just get the V2 head and 64mm bore fore the 160. But its all money I suppose!

Two bikes mate, I only have 1 z160ho.....Remembering that the 160 is a fair bit heavier than a 125...dont worry Ive lifted both of them in and out a few times, much prefer the 125 as I can hold it with one hand and slide bolts in with the other...the 160 it gets a little more tricky with the extra weight involved!

Check post #248 there is the photo of the two bikes.

Correct me if I am wrong but isnt the point of Pit bikes to be small and light and nimble like a bmx on steroids? I think a 160 would kill that feeling of the mini wr personally at this stage anyway! I have my bigger foxico for enduro/trail riding and the pitbike for jumping and tracks... :grinning-smiley-003

Fair enough, it's good to have options

You'll have enough money for a garage full of bikes once you finish law, what ever you like kind of bikes!! hopefully we're both still around miniriders then, you can bring your camp trailer and misses down everytime we head to Morgan :grinning-smiley-003

I certainly hope so, wont be just bikes in my garage :)

Miniriders for life ;)

Well what constructive stuff can I do today. Lucky I am now dreaming of bikes so I'm waking up with good ideas. So I woke up today and realised I had that bigger muffler in hte shed, might wake this up a bit as the old muffler was a little more restrictive. So doing a bit of an experiment today with some different exhausts!

So the big exhaust sounds freaking awesome!!! Although the end wont fit I need to take about 2mm of this alloy off to get it to fit properly. Now I just realised someone else has all my cutting disks for the angle grinder....geez...thats slightly annoying!

This is what I mean photobucket is down so small photos sorry!!

So I either need to modify the left bit or the right bit....not sure which will be easier

I could grind the bit on the right in this photo need to loose all of 2mm

OR I could just chop this part so it will fit, the OD is the same its just the middle bit that wont fit...

So on the left which is hte original for a 32mm pipe or what ever is 39mm compared to 43mm for the 28mm pipe or what ever....sand paper?? I might be at it for a while but trying to loose 4mm off of it!

Right back yarded the crap out of it, bent out the centre and hammered it on  DAMN I'm good at dodgy solutions....now it sounds even meaner...a TON meaner!!! :action-smiley-035:

So this was the result of my backyarding!!

Pliers and a hammer, sorted....

Cheers mate!

Wow did I have a day of winnning!!!!!!!!!

Havnt had a day this good in a while with bikes!!

So went to the tool shop and bought a screw extractor set for $36 although the $20 wrench didn't get used and im taking that sucker back!

So two rear disk bolts came out with the allen keys, 1 came out with vice grips then the last one got drilled and then I hammered one of these suckers in(forget the name of this magic little tool) and out she came  I'm getting better at this stuff, must be some skills rubbing off from watching the ultra talented my67rx :hail:

Now to fix the insane flat spot, and get a new tube as this one in there decided to split at the valve  no repairing that!! Then this back wheel is good to roll on and on and on!!

Get some of these and decent metal drill bits...they work really well for extracting screws, no stress no hassles on the cheap Chinese 'hardened'(more like softened) steel bolts  go the RC car channel that showed me that!! Reps to that man!

I now love these things...were given to me by a mate years ago, finally I have use for them!!

Now I have matching disks, and no those allen bolts are NOT going back in...going to buy something with a 12mm socket head pretty sure I have clearance for them nothing much in the way on the back wheel....not dealing with this again after 3 wheels like this, enough is enough. I'm not going to make the same factory mistakes in case I ever need to get the rear disk off again!

Yay matching disks!! To late for the photo comp by a day!

Victory music!!!

that is definitely a win mate!

Thanks I'm pretty impressed with myself...doesnt happen that often, pretty sure I have found a solid way to get stupidly stuck allen bolts out now! Then again I did forget it was thrusday today and missed a permanent booking for every thrusday....oops, stupid brain, not even my phone realised it didnt give me the usual 1hr before ding dong that I had a job coming up....I think my phone has had its day.... :hache:

those tools are Torx Wrenches or Torx drivers

Ah ok yeah they are pretty solid, not even a scratch from hammering it in on the face!! Its all I had but seemed to work, so much for the screw extractor, guess I'll save that for another day!

Well I had some spare black and clear from the frame and swingarm(just enough for a couple of coats), what do you do with spare paint....paint stuff of course!!

This sprocket was annoying me and the rim needs its MASSIVE flat spot fixed before its going back on. So I thought Id take some time and do something to bling it up a little! Managed to find a polishing disk in my bag of tools for the angle grinder, cleaned it with CLR then polished it up a bit then paint, thats about the last rusty piece on the bike sorted  Once the back wheel is round again and back on, this bike is almost done, except for the engine work that is!!

Yep one of my cracking photos again!!

Well my back is still messed up...so much work backing up...not to impressed. Cant do a whole lot of bending atm, so just bits and pieces going on. Did the fork stickers just now, looks a bit better. I still need to get some sticker sheets and do some STU TECH stickers on the forks...Some race numbers need to go on eventually! Think I'm going to run 788 which is STU in number pad code
