U rekon the plug ae? If it was faulty wouldnt it not be able to start at all?
My coil have many kinks in it where it has been melted by the the oil cooler spring things. Should i get one of those also and a new spark plug, do you think this will fix the not starting? Have u watch the video i posted of me trying to start it? This might give u a better understanding. Thanks heaps
what are vacuum leaks?
these are leaks from around your inlet manifold, and carb. they are called vacuum leaks, air leaks etc. basically all they are is a leak, as a result of a warped inlet manifold (at the base), or dodgy gasket, or loose bolt, allowing too much air to be mixed with your fuel. resulting in it running alot richer than usual.
a good way to check for air/vacuum leaks is to spray some inox ore wd40 around where your inlet manifold connects to the head and carb. if you see any bubbles appear when you kick it over , you know u got a leak.
if its a chinese crap plug, it can give ir-regular spark, sometimes allowing you to start and other times not. grab a genuine ngk cr7hsa, they are cheap, and your bike will be alot easier to start.

another thing to look at (may have been mentioned) does your spark plug lead have any kinks or places where its been melted away abit ? if so, it can cause your bike not to start, or have problems starting. the stock leads are not too good, if i were you, i would grab a chinese copy of an ngk spltifire lead. they are much better than stock lead. they give a stronger spark, and a more efficient burn. i recenlty bought one for my bike, and noticed a difference in acceleration compared to the stock lead
it could be contributing. you never know, it could be the problem, stranger things have happened, lol, but i would suggest doing things that have alrready been mentioned above, e.g, cleaning carb, checking for vacuum leaks, setting valve clearences etc. if those things arnt properly maintained/adjusted, it can make a bike live a shorter than necessary life.
if you mean your coil lead, then yes you should probably look at getting a new lead asap. but, in the meantime, if you have any electrical tape around, tape around where it has been burnt/melted. try and wrap it as tightly as possible. this can somethimes fix the lead if the burns arnt too deep. your plug may already be a ngk, but from the sounds of it , you could do with a new one. just watched your video then. i think it may be a fuel/carbuerettor problem.
