who are you people to tell Pitster what they can and can not do with their own business.
If you disagree with them just do not buy from them but to go around and make up rumors and make up false statements and emails you are pathetic.

I have seen the site Hackmunch is referring too and it is not unbiased. They sit around and bash Pitster to death. If they have 400 members only about 4 of them post over there.

Sounds like a biased opinion mate, thats right dont like it dont buy one, simple. But calling people pathetic without proof is pathetic, there still china bikes mate.

Please tell me how I can prove that the emails are the real deal! I'm more than willing too!

yes well, someone had to say it, may as well have been me...

The sad truth of the matter, is that no matter the injustice of the price the importer charges the dealers as opposed to the cheap deals they offer going straight out the back door OF the importer, there is nothing wrong with it legally, only morally...
Theoretically, a dealer should pay no more for an imported knocked down (still in crate) bike, than what someone who contacts the importer direct, and purchases a bike FROM the importer... it's a well known fact, as Sean01 pointed out, that the cheapest point of purchase is the importer...
HOWEVER... the dealer should pay no more for their bikes, than the "private citizen" who purchases from the importer... It's is regarded that the DEALER then marks up the cost of the bike when selling to the public.. the importer faces the same cost whether selling to a dealer, or a private sale.. if you think about it, the dealer should pay less than a single private sale, as they are generally buying in bulk.. Ever heard of a dealer buying only one bike? Me neither....

Now if a dealer was getting a bike from an importer at say $1200, and selling it for $3300, then yes, we'd have good reason to piss and moan... but this isnt the case... it's the dealers getting screwed for a change... fortunately in this case, it appears to be limited to dealings in the Mighty US of A...not here..
I dont think anyone here has any cause nor reason to complain about the price and level of service offered by Pitster Pro Australia..
Whilst this in now way effects things here in OZ, it's a matter of "principle", and woggy's Hub Failure thread on Planet Minis is a disgusting abuse of consumer service and protection, in the interest of corporate monopolising and greed... It's the same reason companies like Holden (GM for our american brethren) Ford and Chrysler have company call-backs on defective products... As opposed to interwebs "stand over" tactics and the silencing of free speech... Especially when a consumer is merely asking for assistance from a company who has designed a faulty product...

Mr TRUTH, i'll PM you an email address should you wish to forward on the emails in question. I'm sure they'd make for interesting reading by myself and perhaps the other mods here...

I seen his postings of him making 70 foot jumps with his bike. Maybe it just needs to keep the bolts tight. :D

the bolt holes in the sprocket are bigger than the bolt so the sprocket has free play..... thats not meant to happen

a: if the bike isnt meant to be jumped 70ft, perhaps Pitster should consider a disclaimer.. "Vital parts of this rolling chassis will fail if launched"...
b: the issues with the sprocket bolts and hub came about BEFORE he was launching the thing 70ft..

Yer the problem did happen after about 5 hours riding at my house...

It has nothing to do with the way the bike was ridden , or how tight the bolts are .. its always going to happen when the sprocket holes are to big for the dam bolts....

did you ever solve this problem wog?

I just pulled the sprocket anti-clockwise and tightened the bolts , so it couldn't rock any more..... Its dodge but its working..

Its a easy problem to fix if your not a lazy ass like me , but it shouldn't be something you have to fix.

Im just gonna get a sprocket with the right size holes and that should do it...

And one thing i find funny is in the 2nd thread i made on pm , They said it Must only be the bikes in Australia ...

naturally... even though you got the 09.5 model with the nitrided forks etc but the crappy sprockets and hub...

shame really, the $400 atomik 125 i have doesnt have that issue... ha ha ha

I wanted to see if this was a one time thing or not before I said anything. After dealers started complaining about the back door deals they started doing them over the phone. Smarter but still dishonest

Please give me a call and we can talk.

Regards

Gary G.

If I was going to make a fake email I would have proof read it and seen that it should have been sell in the first email I posted not "sale the motor and other parts and you are money ahead." I'm not the smartest but I'd have caught that!

Please pm me with your email address, if anyone wants to see the email for themselves

This is why I posted this here. I had an impostor on planetminis claiming to be me so I posted these

All deleted in seconds. Thanks for being kind enough to let me keep this up here. This crap is unbelievable, they can delete my posts and ban me from their little kiddie site. I'm not going away, I'll still show anyone that wants to know how they really do things.

Because you are a just trying to stir up trouble. Yes I am a dealer and rider both. I have never found a importer that will work as hard for their dealers as Pitster does. If you find a better product for the money in the Chinese industry post it up.

Sorry mate I'd have to disagree .... the allegations of censoring on planet minis which seem to have some justification are extremely disturbing to us here at MR.If it's true it reflects very badly on pm's credability ... I'm sure you understand that
.
We pride ourselves on being unbiased and no company would ever THINK of trying that sort of thing on here as regardless of how it effects dealers ...it's simply bad business to adopt such a practice on a public forum.

A few questions I'd like to ask are

are you a dealer or an importer over there in the U.S ?

What do you have to say about the allegations of corperate censorship on planet mini's ?

Lastly I'm glad we have a good importer over here ... he's heavily involved in the scene, suporting events and riders ... and has great after sales and parts.

American, Michigan, 48433 (flushing) to be exact :)

funny it seems to be the Americans who are ripping each other off the most LOL..

ha ha an American dealer from flushing ... seems too have gone quiet .... interestingvto see if he replies ..... seems like he's covering for the importer (if it's not him)
