Nice, they should look good!

I was looking at the blue hubs and black rims for the mini wr, but I need to sort out a decent motor before I bling it up anymore!!

Got any idea for the next ride day? JAMS looks a bit boring really!!

So my rims have rocked up, look nice, had a few spokes loose though so a heads up for anybody else buying these, check the spokes. Will get the tyres put on them tomorrow.

Just giving the bike a good clean and was wondering if anybody knew a trick to get this dirt off?

I have tried scubbing with a brush but won't come off. Only thing I found works is steel wool and scotch brite but I can't get all of it and it is taking forever:(

Have you trued them too or were they ok? I loctited the spokes just cause I'm guessing a moto rim will sort itself out way faster than a bmx or DH mtb rim!! Just so the spokes dont get looser but I'll give them another true up and tighten after the first few hours on it

it's $3 iirc,
takes a couple of goes to clean off bad stains, i spray it on, let it sit for a couple of mins, then pressure was it off.

So I have got the wheels and rear brake on now, needed a little modifications to the spacers on the rear wheel to make the gpx brake to fit properly but all worked out in the end. Rims look sick in person. Here are a couple of pics...

Obviously there is a bolt missing one the rear disc which Im looking for a replacement for, Brake pedal needed to have some modification too to allow for the longer shaft on the master cylinder.

Think I might have bent bars now though. Only just notice but they don't feel all that great.

they look good!
are you going to run nyloc nuts on the back of the sprocket bolts ?

hey russell, since your pics are copyright they wont show up here.
but clicking on them will let us see them.

in your links above, you have the same pic too.
but i did see the full bike pic on Flickr

yeah I can't work out how to embed them here properly since flickr updated (stupid updates), just got rid of the copy rights and still doesn't work:(
