With a postie. I can afford to get a car and bike license. Pay rego and fuel.

In the end a wr is waaay more powerful and fun but I just can't afford it I rekon.

PS I will have $3000 MAX

Ok I have a tough decision to make.

The only way I'm gonna be able to afford a WR is that if I sell my pitty now for $900 (I have someone interested). That way by the time its mid next year I will have about 4 grand.

I'll regret it now but I won't next year. Is it worth it?

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont sell tha pitty

Wow, you gotta be kidding me .. 900 for your bike? **** son.. I'd sell it for sure, by mid next year when you want to sell it I doubt you'll get 900 again..

WR would kill a postie bike mate..

no way id ever do it,

big bikes in the city roads is crazy IMO,

if you cant afford a big bike without selling stuff than IMO you shouldnt get one, what happens when you need fork seals, or something else goes wrong with a older WR, we have big bikes in our family, and its not uncommon to spend $500-1000 on repairs few times a year, esp if its and older 2000 model,

thats my 2c

Flarry i think your situation is perfect, you got plenty of places to ride, and your not riding through the city etc, goodluck with it all mate!

but riding around the city on a dirt bike, with no driving experience what so ever, is just crazy IMO, and theres no way in hell id ever let my kids do that!!!

if i was you sid, i buy a reliable car that can tow, buy a bike trailer, and get out riding on your pitty more often!!! (like every weekend lol)

I know! Theres so many trails around here and winding roads attract 100's of motorcycles haha.

My dad got his motorcycle license at 16 and had to learn to ride in the rush hour traffic of sydney!

The more I think about it the harder it is gonna be to work all this stuff out.

The main reason I want a bike is because of the costs of fuel and rego.

But I think I am just going to get a car.
