yeah spent abit on clean it haha, brought a pack which had some really good protectant spray and really shined it up and the blacks no longer faded. looks the same after i just hosed it down before from riding.
got my old forks back that had the other fork guard. need to do something has its rubbing on the forks and making them a silver colour. looks way better with the proper size i reckon.

Just checking out your pics mate and I can see some awesome bonsai's. a Maple, fig and is that big one a Chinese or Japanese pine? He looks fantastic!!

Oh yeah your bike sweet too man. :)

Wow dude, i don't think iv'e ever seen the bike that clean... Makes one hell of a difference. Cleaned mine off today too, forgot i'd ripped off the air filter earlier today... oh well, time to clean the carb again :(

think its the sticker kit that makes it look better/cleaner
altho i got some really good wash stuff and proctant and shine.
got an even shiner bike next to it now :D

found the spare original swingarm stickers, thought it was abit plain so chucked them on

need to get new tyres, found another shifter but its a **** one so maybe longer hammerhead gear shifter but i'd rather get one for the kxf so proberly a standard cnc one again but red and black
pro taper lever is good, bike still feels like its slipping in 4th or 3rd.
might rebleed the brakes as the new front brake seems pretty weak still
needs another clean, too many spiderwebs lol

Harry what products do you use to clean your bike with after washing it? I use silicon tyre shine spray on the plastics, decals and tyres and a spray on quick detailer polish for the frame, forks etc.

For anything metal, autosol. It's the best by far IMO!! Bit of elbow grease and shiny shiny.

I use Mothers Plastic polish for ferrings as silicone spray makes them too slippery and can't grip the bike with your legs. Usually run over the whole bike first with that then silicone spray all the other plastics. Especially under the guards as helps mud come off.

To wash I use Extreme Clean. Better than CT truck wash as it doesn't corrode anodized parts.

Thanks for that motorman yes autosol is good stuff. Yes i spray under the guards with the silicone spray i might try that plastic polish. Just interested in what product you guys use.

Mother plastic polish is what a lot of car panel beaters use on cars as well so used by professionals too. Highly recommended and pretty well priced. Last for ages too.

:p Anyway, on the metal polish stuff Autosol is great stuf HOWEVER if you have machine polished parts (i.e the rims on my ZX7) use Purple Polish, this stuff is brilliant :)

Never heard of purple polish.

Just found out we sell it at work. Will get a tub and give it a crack on the rims. I like the sounds of no rubbing!! haha

raced it yesturday, didn't think it felt 100% and started to loose power and grip on the last race so think i'll give it a quick rebuild for next weeks race.
