new protaper pastrana bend handle bars for the LXR, also some new red progrips
bars feel really good abit higher and wider than the tag t2 mini bends i have run for like 8 years maybe. feels just like my KXF just smaller.
ordered new Genuine ngk spark plugs that i had to get from the uk waiting on them and oil filters to arrive.

why did you have to get your plugs from OS??
did you use stock header modified for the daytona?
you still have a bogging issue, are you running the#3 throttle slide and jfq needle??

Pro grips are really good imo they seem to be really durable compared to afew others what Cdi are you using?

the ngks dhz sell arent genuine and cost 30 a plug, bought 2 real ones posted for that. i reckon its more spark related
headers are made for the lxr with a daytona bend with procircuit muffler, pro circuit was klx style which fitted but had a slight leak.

standard daytona cdi. yeah pro grips pretty good, should have got them for my kxf aswell, the tags i got arent much good ripped one putting it on.

had a ride today with the pro tapers, way better

the daytona/lxr bend pipes work on lxr 12's but aren't long enough for the lxr 14, they also have a really restricted flange mount compared to stock klx bend header, works great on gpx110 race engine but I felt it would restrict the 190 too much..
I ended up having to get a ycf sp3 full system with power bomb for my lxr14 and still had too weld an extra 2" to the rear of the header.
I actually like the stock lxr bars but havn't tried any others yet as i havn't been able to bend the stock bars (yet). haha

nice bike mv24, you've had that a while now......

quite afew people i know thats bought them reckon they arent genuine and have had similar issue ive had, may or may not be true but im not paying that much for a plug from them. my rx7s plugs cost that and they are large mulit ground ones.

this bike was the original LX the first LXR so its abit shorter than the later ones. so no clearance issue, i was quite happy with the pipe didnt notice any power loss or anything going from the pro circuit pipe, i never liked how far the pro circuit sat out i was very happy how the new pipe was angled behind the number plate sits perfectly.

nearly 10 years now, changed abit.

its alot more hidden looks alot better.

so the original pipe from the LX was a crf bend pipe??
did the LX come with a yx engine or was the early z155 a crf port?

red frame looks awesome too!

Nah The Original pipe is klx style but the newer pipe is a klx to crf bend at the engine for the daytona.
The old pipe i was able to bend it abit to make it line up.
Original engine was a gpx branded yx160 so before 155z was around.

Yeah the red came up good, blaze red powder coat much easier to clean too.
About to paint one of my cars that colour
