The Honda dealership I got my CRF50 bearings from where fine, I just asked for some, and they just gave them to me, nno questions asked.

so i decided to start piecing it together today with my lovely partner's help ;)

painting the triples

paid terry from firepower mini's for the bearings, as he was the only one out of all the guys i contacted that actually replied :) faux pa carbon fibre plastics are on their way as well, only need the front wheel now, and paint the fast ace forks i got from craig!!!!!

I am looking faward to seeing the plastics on with the blue frame and swingarm, I reckon it'll go well!

Carbon fibre forks FTW ;)

Haha, lol I was only joking, but maybe it could work, but I reckon you'd have to have some blue hubs front and rear, as long with a carbon wrapped swingarm for it to look the part. Nonetheless, I'm sure it'll look great :)

the frame and tripples came up well.
with the forks i'd be going for a Satin Black then try and find some new FastAce stickers for them

so you are happy with the Forks ?

im actually debating on whether to paint the whole fork, or just the bottom part were the bog is, im worried i wont get the triples over the paint with out taking the paint off.... ended up hitting the triples with the same blue, they look even better now.... yeah craig im pretty happy with the forks, different design to anything i had looked at, with the holes in the top of the fork. that scratch doesn't let any oil through either :) should work a heap better than the ol dodgy's that were on it ;)

Bugger, lol. Good idea using those though, better than paying for GPX black labels if they arn't going to be used to their full potential.

yeah my thoughts exactly, cant see them having any problem with a 20 kilo kid on em ;) decided not to go to huge with that build, as callum will be up for a bigger bike next year, so jayden will inherit this whole bike, minus the 160, next year

just give them a light coat, then one wet coat to give it a smooth finish.
the paint will only come off where the tripple clamps sit
when you go to fit them, take the bolts out of the tripples and tap a plastic wedge in the slots to open them up a touch more.

you dont reckon i would have to prime them as well craig? the last set i sprayed ended up dropping the paint off them everywhere, and i had spent ages with the prepsol getting them clean... i thought a coat the etch primer i have here would fix that, but then make the paint to thick...

So hoping were having a boy....good excuse for more bikes
