only 1 round left at the moment because it gets real hot up there in nov.its the 11th october.hope to see use there

Good to see so many riders out at Wonthaggi today, everyone had a sick day of chasing each other around. We spoke to the owner of the track today and he has agreed to let us claim the mini bike track and prepair it ready for regular RACING and social ride days. This is good news for Vic riders and the interstate riders looking for more races. Track prep is starting ASAP and the first race on the mini bike track is planned for the 15th of Novermber. Our plan is to make this very cheap to race, fun and on a regular basis, will keep you posted with all the details and updated with pics of the track as we prepair it.

Bloody Awesome! Nothjing better than blasting round all day with 30 or so other riders on pitbikes!

Man Im sore today though!

Peter at the club loves it and was a massive help.

Nov 15th sounds great and the track that peter is going to build us for the pitbikes only will make it even more fun!

Lets get a working bee happening.

Early October?
2nd weekend of october sound good to you guys?

Peter said he just needs a hand as he will have the machinery there, make some jumps and berms, he is going to use some big pipes to make the jumps over!

Keen as!

Whos got photos?

it's only yours that cant mv24

greg / brad we are going to have to confirm this track with the club president and the committee hally is a great guy and will do it but i'd hate for this to be built and we never get to use it or it doesn't get built in the first place

i'll get in contact with you guys soon

coolee, we asked Peter about the commitee and he did not think it was a problem, all the club wants is for everyone to be involved and get it organized. It will still need to pass the commitee, but with a game plan of attack, dates for working bee's, dates for the events, why would the commitee not want us to do it!! Worst case, we did some track maintenance and have another good track to ride at..

Yeah greg, totally Agree, Peter has so much passion for that place and loves helping out. Its so good to have people like that behind what we are all trying to do.

If we put in and make it happen the club wins cause they have an extra and active track/members, we win cause we get to ride and race a sick track.

lets get it pumping and make it happen.

Thank you guys for pushing to get it to where it is. We need to work together to build this sport into what it should be!

braaaaaaaaaaap

yep your right

but you guys arn't members of dmcc but hey i'm all for it man so maybe we get together do up a plan of attack and hit em with all we got i'll get in contact with you both asap and we can get it going i just suggest we get the go ahead before we go promoteing to much

speek soon

Ciniworx minis only ride days at wonthaggi

CINIWORX has been organising some fun MINIS ONLY ride days at Wonthaggi, Victoria. For all those wanting to particiapte you must REGISTER WITH CINIWORX. If you are not on the list NO ENTRY. CINIWORX in conjunction with the DMCC have spent alot of time and effort to arrange these days. The DMCC commitee does not see any reason in upgrading the kids track to an Adult Mini track when Wonthaggi has an acceptional Australian MX Championship Track available to ride your Mini. Then where will the kids ride?? We are privillaged to be able to ride at such a track. Lets increase the number of Mini Riders on these days we have available. WHERE CAN WE RIDE OUR MINI DIRT BIKE? YOU ASK, CINIWORX DELIVER!!! FOR MORE INFORMATION GOTO CINIWORX HOMEPAGE and click on the VICTORIAN MINI RIDE DAYS.

FYI Greg and Brad

Peter Hall is the caretaker of the Wonthaggi Motocross Grounds. He is not the owner. Dandenong Motorcycle Club owns the Wonthaggi track. To have any input into what happens there i would suggest you guys become members of the Dandenong Motorcycle Club and attend a few meetings FIRST. Lets go through the right channels!! We dont want to lose what we have already been given. A big thannkyou to JOEL for all his effort in making these days happen. YOUR THE MINI MAN!!

Again register your interest in VIC MINI RIDE DAYS at CINIWORX.COM

Its great to see everyone is so enthusiastic but...please dont let us lose what we already have.....

Hey Shezzz/Ciniworx, no one is trying to step on your toes, Brad and I were talking with Peter the caretaker who has worked there for over 30 years and lives on the property next door, in regards to fixing up the old kids track with wider lines, tyres and a table top. This is only improving the kids track to a flat track we can also ride on, this only takes our time and effort and Peter is more than happy to supply us with his time and effort so why would we not take him up on his offer?? It seem like you want to increase the numbers to the ride days but have everyone come to your shop or phone you to be apart of it. If you want it to grow you will need everyone to bring there riders, what ever brand of bike they own or buy!! cheers Greg

Mini rides at wonthaggi

Greg... Hmmm..what can i say...I think you have totally misunderstood what we are all about. We are only trying to get things organised. We have been organising these ride days all year and really appreciate the time and effort put in by people to making it possible. I thought you did too! I think for you guys to go planning another ride day without even consulting us who have gone to all the effort of organising previous ride days and permits was the wrong thing to doand totally unappreciative. We need to work together here and not get ahead of ourselves. We cant just go with Peter we need to check with the club and go about this the right way. This is not about self promotion this is about getting organised. We dont get any money from these ride days. We just get to ride at a really great track with other mini riders. I think you could agree that with the last ride day we had no idea of rider numbers. If we want to keep riding we need to get organised. We are not just going for a ride in Peters Backyard. Wonthaggi is a MA motocross track run by the Dandenong Motorcycle Club and we ALL need to be more professional. We know everyone is excited about being able to ride somewhere decent and legal but lets make this a permanent thing and dont blow our chances. Checkout the DMCC website they have their own ride days and working bees planned for the dates you were looking at. We would hate to turn up and have all non DMCC members not even allowed to enter the gates!!

Please look at our website information you will see ALL ARE WELCOME. It doesnt matter what brand of bike you ride or how old or experienced a rider you are ALL ARE WELCOME. ITS MINIS ONLY. If we can get all those interested in riding at Wonthaggi to register on our website CINIWORX HOMEPAGE we can plan our next ride day. (We only need name and contact) Please check out the details on the website and LETS GO RIDING!

yep

we need to know numbers that are going to show up on the day

we got 26 riders plus a couple of young fellas on the last ride day if we had of had another 10 riders people would of missed out because we didn't have the correct permit
and the permit for the next level is $75 more which increases the cost for the day.
we can accommodated for it but we would of had to supply corner marshals so someone would of had to do that. was your hand going up greg. i did a bit on the main jump while everyone else rode i think the ma rule is maximum 20 fast 5o's on the track at one time and we have to stick by that.

just for your information guys here is a link to the permit applicatoin http://www.motorcyclingvic.com.au/Forms 2006/Permit Application 2008.pdf

on page 4 you will see pricing our permits atm cost $100 if we get over 35 riders our permit goes to 175 thats for practice days

now if we want to run races there the fast 50's permit is $700 and i have to check with ma but i think thats for club races so numbers to cover that plus the rider levi + first aid + everyone haveing to have a Victorian ma license and be a dmcc club member we will need at least 100 riders to make it worth while and it will be expensive for the riders
then if we want to run a national race there allowing interstate licenses and club memberships the price is $1200.00 probably m,ore viable as long as we can draw the numbers.

you know yourself how hard it is to get races up and happening but you did it without ma and ma like hurdles so if we can do it right and get the backing of the dmcc who have experience of holding national event which could be of great help

coolie....
