ok, looked at that Daytona 190 PDF,
yours uses a different stator to the Daytona 150
so it is not adjustable at the stator, wonder why thy did that ?
both the 150 and 190 have the adjustable CDI,
yeah i know how swapping the wires around can change the settings with timing etc there
i haven't read Daytonas' timing data,
but in most engines, advancing the timing will bring on the power earlier in the rev range, and it drops off earlier at higher rpms.
maybe they have wired the cdi so you are able to swap the wires to lift the rev limits, and it slightly changes the timing curve at the same time ?
might need Nickv1980, or rotn50 to explain it ?
