the #530 chain on my fury is fine, i had to adjust for like the 3rd time yesterday, lol. just keep them lubed up, and any chain will last..

chain and 17 tooth front sprocket on, washed her up a bit and had a quick spin down the road and back to see what diference the front sprocket made. WOW is my first impression, didnt loose much acc, and gained a heap of top speed. even with the main jet way of, i still pulled 135 (only judged by sitting next to my mates car on the road lol). thats on the stock timing settings and the rev limit set to its lowest. would make a mean motard.....

nice !
i think you meant you were riding in a paddock next to the road, which your mate was driving down along side of you

just looking at the early pics in this thread,
the standard manifold that come with the bike, i wonder why it wasn't the short Daytona one ?

lol thats the one mate ;) the reason braaap use a ycf manifold is to get to the airbox, and the fact they only use the 22mm mikuni might have something to do with it to i reckon

the Gold Heavy Duty DID 520 DZ2 are around $55 Blender, that's what i run on my IT200.

yea, i was looking at the DID NZ3, but the trouble is, i cant find one in a 530 pitch, they're all 520 for big bikes unfortunately. i mean im going to have to get new sprockets, but i'd like to keep the 530 pitch. i've never heard of the DZ2 before, does it come in 530 pitch ?

sorry, i thought yours had a 520, not a 530

yea, some of the x-ring chains are worth about 180 through ebay. im thinking i might go RK this time, never used them personally, some people like them, others hate them, so i'll see how it goes, they're alot cheaper too

anyone know if there is a iridium plug to suit the daytona engines? really want a new plug so i can do a couple of plug chops with the jetting and it be accurate :)
