too lean??

While riding my bike today i realized that at about 3/4 - full throttle i heard the engine cut start cutting out like the choke was closed, this is my first ride after cleaning my carby and cleaning out the jets, i got a 155z with a 26mm mikuni running 20-100 jets, am i running too lean??

never used a mikuni but 20 seems a bit off... all my other carbs have been around 35-40 roughly.. but that may just be that carb! is it cutting out or flooding??

I use a 22.5 pilot and a 100 main on my braaap and thats a YX150 with the same size mikuni. So i would say go to 22.5 or 25 pilot and 102 main and play around with the needle settings mate.

^^^like my mate said

How do you get your bike to idle better when it's cold?, also what is a decent ignition coil?

haha, you do have a heap of questions mate(which are all welcome), good idea i reckon, is easier for you to keep track of all things chickenwings. A lot of the questions you ask just shows your willing to learn dude.

The idle screw on your carb is how you adjust your idle on a cold day but once warm turn the idle back down. In is to turn idle up out is to turn it back down. I run a takegawa super coil on my bike with a NGK lead. But the stock ons arn't really that bad just get a NGK iridium spark plug I highly recommend them.

So what bike are you working on again? Most coils are pretty allright unless your talking racing and as brendo said twiddle with the idle screw on the carby.
