I put it up 3 notches just to experiment and it runs better with the choke closed, when I open up the choke it runs like there is not enough air?

My needle was originally on the bottom notch and my bike was cutting out at high revs like its not getting enough fuel, could the air mixture screw cause this problem?

Don't worry about how your bike runs with the choke on as it is irrelevant, you say its not getting enough fuel with the clip on the bottom notch but that bottom notch is richest meaning more fuel, it is possible more than not that the mixture is not right

If that's the 26 Mikuni that comes on the 155 the screw your after us at the bottom. you need to either remove it or get a oxy n right angle a Philips head screwdriver to get to it.

Did you decide against the oko?

I dunno if i wanna put more money into the bike, I'm planning on upgrading to a 2 stroke 125 soon.

ohno! :action-smiley-018: get an oko mate the full kit from Dhz is like $120 bucks and welll worth it. There's heaps of support on here for em, take it from me mate I've got a 155 its 6 months old and I brought an oko kit it was the best cheap upgrade i did other than the tyres!

Thats a 30mm mikuni, the mixture screw is underneath the carb, if you remove the carb you will see it between the 2 front float bowl bolts.

And as for the mixture screw you can turn it about 2 turns for a rough start but really need to remove it to turn it in small increments then install and ride again and so forth.

Is the pitster pro X4R stock exhaust decent?, how much of a difference is a after market pipe on a stock engine?, also what is a decent aftermarket pipe? also does any klx 110 pipe bolt straight on?

Have you checked the crank breather again, even if the hose is not blocked put your hand behind it while running and make sure the hose is blowing air out of it.

It's blowing air out, a little bit of oil comes out over time while the bike is running, is this normal?

It's right under max on the dipstick, but i doubt the dipstick is even accurate. What are the signs of a engine needing a rebuild soon?

I currently have a 30mm mikuni from DHZ, does the 26mm oko require a different manifold?, also how is the the 1/8 turn throttle from DHZ, how does it compare to the 1/4 turn billet one?

No the 26mm oko doesnt need a different manifold but needs the adaptor boot to slip the oko into then bolt to the manifold. I prefer the 1/4 turn over the 1/8 turn throttle as the 1/8 one can be a touchy when using it.
